At San Diego Comic Con 2017, a trailer for the new CW Seed’s show was dropped, titled The Ray. The trailer tells us quite a few things about The Ray. For starters, it’s going to be a set in Earth X. This is a parallel world where the Nazis won World War II. This is different to modern day America because it means that the new reichsmen rule over present day America.
The show is a DC show meaning that the characters are similar to those of The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl. However, there’s something slightly different about these characters in comparison to your typical heroes that you’re used to seeing on The CW, this time, they’re bad guys.
