Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar reportedly arranged for Anna and Josh to get married in an attempt to cover up their disgraced son’s molestation scandal.
It is common knowledge Josh caused the family quite the embarrassment when it came out that he molested several girls, including his sisters, when he was a teenager. Despite his disgusting past, Josh managed to find a lovely wife, Anna. The two are married and expecting their sixth child.
Jim Bob and Michelle were allegedly desperate to cover up Josh’s scandal after their church discovered the couple’s oldest son was addicted to pornography and touched young females inappropriately. “Older men within the church immediately jumped in to help Jim Bob hide everything as much as possible. They all tried to hire lawyers to keep Josh’s touching of younger girls under wraps,” the source exclaimed.
Everyone in the Duggar’s church was reportedly told to keep quiet back in the early 2000s when the members first learned of Josh’s disgraceful behavior. Shortly after the church members discovered the Duggar bad seed was courting Anna.
“Josh and Anna’s relationship seemed pretty controlled and arranged. Michelle and Jim Bob thought a relationship would solve some of his problems. That was common in our church,” explained the unnamed former church member.
A party was thrown to celebrate Anna and Josh’s courtship. The Radar Online source was at the event, sharing Jim Bob brought up Josh’s mistakes but praised his son for becoming a strong man of God.
“I think when Anna first met Josh, she was very much under the impression that he was a strong, young man who hadn’t done anything bad in a while. But he was still shady when he was courting Anna,” the source revealed admitting Josh never let anyone near his phone.

Josh’s cheating and molestation scandal were made public in 2015. Since then, Jim Bob and Michelle have worked hard to convince fans their son is a changed man after his stint in rehab.
