Amadou Onana is almost certain to leave Everton this summer amid Arsenal's interest, regardless of whether they avoid relegation.
The midfielder arrived at Goodison Park last summer in a deal worth £33million after joining from Lille.
Since then, the 21-year-old has showed his quality in 27 appearances for the club, scoring one goal for the strugglers.
As a result of his displays, Belgian outlet Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that Arsenal are keen to move for the player.
The Gunners were keen to sign the player in January, however Onana opted not to leave the Toffees as he didn't want to abandon the club during their relegation fight.
However, it seems that the summer transfer window will be completely different with Mikel Arteta's side said to be in 'constant contact' ever since.
It's reported that Onana will definitely leave if Everton go down, while he's still '99 per cent' likely to move on even if Sean Dyche's side avoid the drop.
Everton would be willing to sanction a deal to sell the player due to their concerning financial situation, paving the way for a move to north London.

But Arsenal will need to stump up to sign the player, with the Toffees looking for a fee of £61.5million to sell.
With Arteta's side also linked with Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo, it remains to be seen whether they'll see the move as being viable.
